Welcome

Welcome to the Central Florida Ballet’s Academy! Our dedication is to the highest standards of classical ballet education. We work to inspire students of all ages and abilities to achieve their highest potential. As such, the CFB Academy has achieved a local and international reputation for training dancers of the highest caliber.

When you join our Academy, you’ll have access to premier training in small class sizes. You’ll see vast improvement in only a few months!

Student Accomplismments

Our students have won gold, silver and bronze medals at the Youth America Grand Prix and the World Ballet Competition.

They've continued their studies, on scholarship, with prestigious schools including American Ballet Theatre’s JKO School, School of American Ballet, Kirov Academy of Washington, D.C., Dance Theatre of Harlem, Julliard School, Pacific Northwest Ballet School and many more!

Alumni Accomplismments

Our alumni are now dancing with renowned ballet companies including San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Colorado Ballet, Ballet MET, and the Teatrul de Balet Sibiu.

Our alumni have established careers performing on Broadway in Newsies, Matilda, West Side Story, and Billy Elliot. They are also performing as equity dancers with Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld.

Performing Opportunities

Our students have the opportunity to take part in a variety of performances each year:

  • CFB's professional Nutcracker production: Presented in the world-renowned Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The production has been recognized as “one of the top five productions in the nation” by CNN Headline News and has been licensed for international tours in Romania and South Korea.

  • CFB’s Studio Company: Dancers enjoy the experience of dancing corps, soloist and ensemble roles for local audiences. They train for eight months under the direction of CFB's Artistic Director, choreographers and rehearsal masters.

  • Spring Showcase: Presented onstage annually in May for Academy families and friends. This performance celebrates the hard work, dedication and improvement of our students.
